Consultation launched by Brighton and Hove Council on Royal Pavillion Gardens listed ‘at risk’ by HE

websiteThe Royal Pavilion Gardens, Brighton listed as ‘at risk’ by Historic England (HE) since October 2017 are the subject matter of a consultation by Brighton and Hove Council.

Brighton and Hove Council writes:

As a public body with limited resources, Brighton & Hove City Council has a duty to ensure money and time are invested where they are most needed to best to conserve the historic garden and the heritage buildings within it for residents and visitors.

We would like to know what you think could improve the garden and increase understanding of its significance. In particular how to:

  • Better communicate the historic and ecological importance of the garden
  • Improve the management of the space
  • Develop the layout
  • Enhance community enjoyment

We will use your feedback to inform funding bids to invest in the garden and activities within it.
