Nominations for Victorian Society 2018 Top 10 At Risk list now open

websiteIf you know of a Victorian building in England or Wales built between 1837 and 1914, which is at risk and wish there was something you could do to help save it, then why not nominate it for the Victorian Society’s 2018 Top 10 Endangered Buildings list?

The Victorian Society writes:

Nominations for the 2018 Top 10 Endangered Buildings List are now open.  For over ten years the Victorian Society’s Top 10 list has been highlighting the plight of endangered buildings throughout England & Wales. Previous lists have featured theatres, swimming pools, railway stations, hospitals and even cranes, all in dire need of saving due to neglect, insensitive redevelopment or even demolition. If you know of a building in your area that could benefit from the publicity the list can provide, then send it to media@victoriansociety.org.uk before Friday 13th July. It must be in England or Wales and built between 1837 and 1914. Please include as many details as you can, including the name of the building, location, year, brief description, why you think it should be in the Top 10 and at least one good photo. For more information on what to send and the fate of past top tens – and to watch Griff Rhys Jones’s launch video – visit our website.
