IHBC HESPR’s top pick from c.£85k+ costed work this week: Broads authority seeks select structural engineering advice – £10k-30k, closes 05/02

HESPR logoThe IHBC’s heritage business list, HESPR – the Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition scheme – offers its members weekly ‘News and Tender Alert’ emails, with costed opportunities worth more than £85,000 this week, and the IHBC Director’s top pick for NewsBlog readers this week features the Broads Authority-led search for structural engineering advice and guidance over the coming 5 years, valued at £10-30k, and closing 5 February.

IHBC Chair James Caird said: ‘Our weekly Bulletin of current tender notifications to HESPR members is an innovative service that supports commercial conservation businesses that work to the IHBC’s standards and expectations.  These weekly selections offer the wider heritage world a regular insight into the conservation profession that we hope combine good news, sector profile and service inspiration all in one.’

Top tender pick of the week:

The IHBC Director’s picks from the HESPR News and Tender Alert email for this week is a joint call from The Broads Authority, on behalf of Water, Mills and Marshes: the Broads Landscape Partnership Scheme (WMM)’ for ‘tenders from suitably qualified and experienced individuals or organisations to provide structural engineering advice and guidance over the coming 5 years’, noting that ‘the Land of the Windmills project is one of the 38 Projects which in total make up the scheme and during the 5 years of WMM carry out repair work to 11 historic Broads drainage mills.’  The call is valued at £10,000 – £30,000 and closes on 5 February.
