BEFS’ advocacy toolkit can help anyone become a built environment advocate

BEFS Advocacy Document coverBuilding Environment Forum Scotland(BEFS), Scotland’s built and historic environment link body, has produced an advocacy toolkit that gives tips and ideas on how to make the case for the built environment with local politicians and councillors, and raise the profile of organisations.

BEFS writes:

The toolkit is aimed at organisations working in the built environment in Scotland, but may also be of use to individuals. It provides practical information and evidence for organisations to use in spreading the message about the impact of the built environment. Start by reading ‘Become an Advocate’ and then follow the advice in the different sections to begin your own advocacy campaign. More sections and tips will be added so remember to keep checking back. BEFS advocacy toolkit is also available to download as a PDF document.
