New Context out: Conservation Areas 50th Anniversary – Spreading the word with Civic Voice and partners

Context 148 front coverThe latest edition of the IHBC’s membership journal Context is now out, themed around the 50th Anniversary of the Civic Amenities Act and the birth pf Conservation Areas, with Civic Voice, England’s link body for civic groups, taking 500 copies for distribution to its members to help raise awareness of the Act and how IHBC members help care for local Conservation Areas.

IHBC Vice Chair Kathy Davies, guest commissioning editor for the issue, said: ‘We’re already getting huge congratulations and complementary feedback and on this special issue.  I’m delighted with its success and I’d like to offer special thanks to the authors who have contributed so much and to the organisations that will be promoting it, including the Civic Voice and the Gardens Trust, which will both distribute free copies’.
