Heritage Champions Conference 15/11/2010

The date and location of the next national Heritage Champion conference has now been confirmed. It will take place on 15 November at the Foundling Museum in central London.

Whilst details of the programme are still being finalised, the day will include an address from English Heritage Chair, Baroness Andrews, a presentation on the recently launched Planning Policy Statement 5: Planning for the Historic Environment, and a workshop on what local authorities can be doing to combat the problem of heritage crime.

The conference will also give Champions the opportunity to share experiences with colleagues and learn from the approaches of others. The day will be rounded off with a drinks reception and the opportunity to explore the museum.

Space is limited so those who wish to attend should either email champions@english-heritage.org.uk or phone Owain Lloyd-James on 0207 973 3841.
