The Historic Environment Forum (HEF), the heritage key-stakeholder group, through its membership working group, the Historic Environment Protection Reform Group, consulted key heritage stakeholders on 15 proposed reforms in 2016, and the summary report from Historic England is now available online.
Historic England writes:
The consultation on solutions to address the continuing reduction in heritage resource in local planning authorities in England was run from 22 July 2016 with a deadline of 19 September 2016 and a total of 52 responses were received… This summary of the responses has been carried out by Historic England for the Historic Environment Forum.
