NFB to launch Heritage Group, 7 February, Eltham Palace

The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has announced the launch of the NFB Heritage Group, which will take place at Eltham Palace, London, on 7 February 2017.

The NFB writes:

The NFB is a long-established trade federation that exists to support the needs of its members working in the construction sector across England and Wales. The built heritage sector is a subset of the main construction industry and faces similar challenges around skills shortages, poor external image, accessing finance and working to pressured margins. The heritage sector is a resource under threat with skills, experience and expertise being lost to future generations. Without these skills, we will be unable to repair and care for our historic buildings, highlighting the need for immediate, strong and sustained action to prevent further erosion of the skills base.

To help address these challenges, the NFB formed the NFB Heritage Group which works to support members and industry stakeholders to ensure that the skills, expertise and competences are in place to support a robust built heritage sector.

Tickets are £35 + VAT per person and include lunch and networking opportunities throughout the day.
