The IHBC’s commercial conservation services listing, HESPR – the Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition scheme – offers its members weekly HESPR Bulletins that bring tender opportunities together into one handy resource, whle the Director’s top pick for IHBC members this week features a call from Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council (BC) for a specialist consultant to develop select Town Centre Strategies, with a closing date of 27 January, and no valuation stated.

The IHBC Director’s top pick from the HESPR Bulletin for this week comes from Blaenau Gwent County BC, which is looking to procure a specialist consultant to develop an individual Town Centre Strategy for each of Blaenau Gwent’s 5 town centres – Abertillery, Blaina, Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale and Tredegar. It says: ‘The strategy should be an economic development focussed document which sets out an approach to supporting enterprise, attracting investment and creating sustainable community hubs within each town centre. The project is funded by Welsh Government and therefore the project would need to be completed within 6 weeks of appointment (or 30th March 2017).’
The contract is not given a value, while bids close on 27 January.
