A House of Commons Library ‘Briefing Paper’ setting out the Government’s key planning reform proposals for England, including those changes in the process of being made, has been published.
The ‘Briefing’ reports:
Reforms aimed at making the planning process quicker and simpler to use, to support house building, are high on the Government’s agenda. A Housing White Paper is expected to contain a number of reforms in January 2017. This paper sets out the main Government planning reform proposals and those changes in the process of being made in respect of England.
