Context CPD boost: Enriching the List – Appreciating the range of stories in our historic environment

Historic England is developing the listing process to reflect multiple values and a new appreciation of the diverse range of stories in the historic environment, says Emily Gee in her recent article in IHBC’s Context No 147.

In her article titled Diversity on the list, Gee discusses The National Heritage List for England and how this is impacted by identity, inclusiveness and diversity in our national present and future. And how, for historically minded professions, this can also encourage a reflection on our past and how it is presented.
