The Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT) has issued a call for community projects to use spaces the Custom House in Leith (deadline 31 January 2017).
The SHBT has called for proposals on how space inside the historic building can be used for short-term community projects – from one-off events to programmes lasting up to two weeks.
The space includes two large main halls and flexible space for studios, performing arts, meetings, conferences, offices, weddings, workshops, recitals, fundraisers, concerts, gallery/exhibitions, films, markets and celebrations. All proceeds from letting the building will go towards its ongoing upkeep and future restoration.
