IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly welcomed the announcement of the inaugural Building Appraisal, Pathology and Performance (BAPP) Conference, to take place on Thursday 1 July, in London, saying that: “This is a hugely important area for our members, and we expect the event to bring together the diverse range of professionals and specialist interests that help us all understand why buildings might fail, what we can do to prevent that failure, or how we might manage its consequences.”
The event is a high profile one day event that will deal with a cross section of Building Pathology issues, and is aimed at all professions who are involved in building pathology areas. Anyone attending the conference will automatically be enrolled as a founding member when the organisation launches in July 2010.
