The Young Builder Awards, from Youthbuild UK, celebrate the achievements of young people who have had to overcome barriers in their personal lives to train for and/or become employed in the construction industry, with applications close on Friday 29th July.
The National Heritage Training Group (NHTG) writes:
There are two categories: 18-24 years (in employment/and or training) and 14-18 years (still in education or training, including apprenticeships). The awards will be announced at a ceremony at the House of Commons in October. For 2016 there is a prize fund of £7,500 and all shortlisted finalists will receive an award.
