Heritage Alliance’s Making the Most of our Heritage, published at the Alliance’s Heritage Day in December, is a ready reference setting out the value of heritage in the 21st century.
It adopts four headings: building a new economy, giving value for money, empowering people and responding to climate change. Under each, measures indicate how our national heritage could make an even greater difference to national economic and social wellbeing. In support of the rationale, the Alliance adds the statistics to be at everyone’s finger tips in persuading opinion formers and decision makers to support these recommendations.
