{"id":9617,"date":"2015-02-20T16:36:25","date_gmt":"2015-02-20T16:36:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=9617"},"modified":"2015-02-20T16:36:25","modified_gmt":"2015-02-20T16:36:25","slug":"dual-refusal-of-wind-turbines-for-cambridgeshires-skyline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=9617","title":{"rendered":"Dual refusal of wind turbines for Cambridgeshire\u2019s skyline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A proposal for 6 turbines in Cambridgeshire has been refused with views to church spires being cited as one of the deciding factors, even with a revised proposal for 3 turbines also being proposed.<\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Paragraph 39 of the decision letter states<\/span>:<br \/>\n\u2018The Secretary of State concludes that although the deletion of turbines T2, T4 and T6 would reduce the adverse effect on the setting of the church spires and the villages, especially in Bythorn and to a lesser extent in the other 3 nearest historic villages, the reduction in harm has been overplayed by the Inspector. In particular, harm to key views of Bythorn and Keyston church spires would still remain albeit the 3 turbines would usually appear to one side of the spires.
