Continuing in 2015, these seminars will address current and contentious topics within the historic built environment, fostering academic dialogue, professional practice, and providing an arena in which the public, private, civic and academic sectors can engage in heated and healthy debate about all aspects of the topic in hand. The seminar series will be accompanied by published proceedings each following year.<\/p>\n<p>Seminars include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>19 February Dave Chetwyn, <em>Urban Vision Enterprise CIC<\/em>, on <em>Living Heritage \u2013 planning for the 21<sup>st<\/sup> century <\/em>(kindly sponsored by the IHBC)<\/li>\n<li>11 June Jon Rowland, <em>Jon Rowland Urban Design<\/em>, on <em>Planning for growth \u2013 historic towns and the Greenbelt issue<\/em><\/li>\n<li>19 November Panel debate, on <em>Transport solutions in growth areas \u2013 is heritage a help or hindrance?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Venue:\u00a0 Mawby Room, Kellogg College, 60-62 Banbury Road, Oxford, OX2 6PN<\/p>\n<p>Time: 7.00pm for drinks and nibbles; seminars start at 7.30pm sharp; Finish: 9.00pm<\/p>\n<p>These are free events.
