{"id":8562,"date":"2014-09-20T16:55:28","date_gmt":"2014-09-20T15:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=8562"},"modified":"2014-09-20T16:55:28","modified_gmt":"2014-09-20T15:55:28","slug":"ihbcs-hespr-member-survey-results-show-cautious-optimism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=8562","title":{"rendered":"IHBC\u2019s HESPR member survey results show \u2018cautious optimism\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The recent IHBC survey into private sector conservation business\u00a0 linked to the IHBC through our HESPR programme, reveals \u2018cautious optimism\u2019 about trading business, IHBC\u2019s Chair Mike Brown has observed, welcoming the report<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The IHBC\u2019s HESPR scheme \u2013 our \u2018Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition\u2019 listing \u2013 is just one of the ways the institute supports its members.\u00a0 HESPR offers low-cost access to a register of business practices that work to the IHBC\u2019s conservation standards, with benefits that include notices of current tender opportunities.\u00a0 By responding to an annual survey, HESPR members can help the IHBC develop its advocacy for corporate bodies in the built and historic environment conservation sector.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IHBC Projects Officer Fiona Newton, who carried out the survey, said: \u2018Of course our list of HESPR members is still small in terms of numbers, but it is a very select and representative grouping for the sector as a whole.
