{"id":8422,"date":"2014-08-30T16:57:31","date_gmt":"2014-08-30T15:57:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=8422"},"modified":"2014-08-30T16:57:31","modified_gmt":"2014-08-30T15:57:31","slug":"ihbcs-new-lets-liaison-officer-kate-kendall-ihbc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=8422","title":{"rendered":"IHBC\u2019s new LETS Liaison Officer: Kate Kendall IHBC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) the UK\u2019s professional body for built and historic environment conservation specialists, is delighted to announce the appointment of Kate Kendall IHBC as its first \u2019Learning, Education, Training &amp; Standards\u2019 (LETS) Liaison Officer, charged with supporting the institute\u2019s extensive voluntary network in its organization, development and delivery of our UK-wide programme of training events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>IHBC Chair Mike Brown, said: &#8216;It\u2019s great to have Kate on board doing this very important role for the Branches and Members. \u00a0I look forward to working with her and I know she&#8217;ll make a major difference&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Kendall, who has an extensive body of volunteer and professional experience in conservation and conservation-related training and events management, said: \u2018As a member of the IHBC when I heard about the new LETS post I was really pleased to hear that the organisation was in a position to employ another member of staff. Additional capacity enables the IHBC to build on the positive work of the Institute taking it from strength to strength.
