(Architectural Association)\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-8110\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Last years winner, Sebastion Fry, whose entry was &#8216;Function Tradition Ideology or Patron: What influenced the architecture of Knights Hospitaller Commandery Chapels and Associated Churches in Britain 1140-1370?&#8217; (Architectural Association)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><em>Image courtesy of Jonathan Taylor<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">There&#8217;s still time to enter for the most inclusive award for taught coursework in the UK relating to the past and future of valued places \u2013 The Institute of Historic Building Conservation\u2019s (IHBC) 2014 Annual Gus Astley Student Award \u2013 GASA 2014 is still open for submissions, with a closing date of 31 July 2014 and an uplift in the award to \u00a3500.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Eligible course work may deal with any aspect of places, buildings, features or areas that relates to conservation and the past or future of the built and historic environment.\u00a0 Entries may cover history, heritage site management and planning, new architecture or investigative research. There are no restrictions on discipline, type of taught coursework, group numbers or age.
