{"id":7682,"date":"2014-05-23T17:28:23","date_gmt":"2014-05-23T16:28:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=7682"},"modified":"2014-05-23T17:28:23","modified_gmt":"2014-05-23T16:28:23","slug":"euro-heritage-counts-calls-for-non-uk-evidence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=7682","title":{"rendered":"Euro \u2018Heritage Counts\u2019 calls for non-UK evidence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Europa Nostra initiative to emulate England\u2019s Heritage Counts at European level is seeking evidence on economic, social, cultural and environmental impact of cultural heritage outside the UK to be submitted<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Cultural Heritage Counts for Europe: Towards a European Index for Cultural Heritage\u2019 is the two-year project funded by the EU Culture Programme that aims to raise greater awareness on the multiple benefits of cultural heritage as the basis for policy development. It will identify gaps in existing research across Europe, suggest a future research agenda including developing a new methodology as well as make policy recommendations.
