\nEmpowerment, Enterprise and Regeneration: Valuing Community Asset Transfer
\nAsset transfer is based on effective partnerships and mutual respect between local authorities and third sector organisations. As a key element of the Government\u2019s empowerment agenda, asset transfer is about enabling local people to take a lead in improving local neighbourhoods and services.<\/p>\n
Advancing Assets and the Community Asset Programme have supported the transfer of property assets to great projects from across the country. Forward thinking local authorities are working with dynamic third sector organisations to make a real difference to services and communities. Through this conference we want to identify how we build these effective relationships and how we demonstrate the value of asset transfer clearly and objectively.<\/p>\n
