{"id":7357,"date":"2014-03-21T17:45:32","date_gmt":"2014-03-21T17:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=7357"},"modified":"2014-03-21T17:45:32","modified_gmt":"2014-03-21T17:45:32","slug":"surveying-englands-buddhist-architecture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=7357","title":{"rendered":"Surveying England\u2019s Buddhist Architecture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">University of Leeds research has begun into an English Heritage project researching and recording Buddhist buildings<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The research team have a blog \u2018Building Buddhism\u2019 to share the ongoing work, whose research has been funded by English Heritage in order to increase their knowledge of minority faith buildings in England.<\/p>\n<p>Blog entries to date include the London Buddhist Centre (in a converted fire station) and Jamyang London (situated in a former Victorian court house).
