The IHBC today opened a new phase in its exploration of membership needs and aspirations, with the launch of a web-based survey and \u2018SWOT\u2019 analysis for members and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
IHBC director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly said: “We want anyone interested in historic places to help shape our direction for the five years from 2010; hopefully it will be as successful as the guidance given by our own members over the last five. \u00a0In that time we\u2019ve transformed both the IHBC, and our place on the landscape of historic and built environment interests, all with the support of new members as well as long-standing supporters. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Now is the time to reconsider how we move forward.<\/p>\n
This survey is part of an on-going conversation we\u2019ve been having across the sector since the start of the year. \u00a0In light of the big sectoral changes we are continuing to face, and the feedback already received, we\u2019ve produced a briefing note to inform contributions to the survey. \u00a0Contributors can also join in a draw for a \u00a340 book token as an added attraction.”<\/p>\n
