{"id":7113,"date":"2014-02-01T16:41:59","date_gmt":"2014-02-01T16:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=7113"},"modified":"2014-02-01T16:41:59","modified_gmt":"2014-02-01T16:41:59","slug":"new-study-highlights-opportunities-and-guidance-on-ldos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=7113","title":{"rendered":"New study highlights opportunities and guidance on LDO\u2019s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Welsh Government has published a new study relating to Local Development Orders (LDOs) which remove the need to apply for planning permission for the type of development specified in the LDO, as an extension to permitted development (but created locally for a specific areas needs<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Welsh Government writes<\/span>:<br \/>\nThis study \u2018highlights the opportunities offered by Local Development Orders (LDOs) and provides guidance on their creation and use for local authorities and others in Wales.<\/p>\n<p>The research identifies the successes and lessons learned from the experience of creating LDOs in in England, where there is a history of their use.
