{"id":6972,"date":"2013-12-23T17:02:09","date_gmt":"2013-12-23T17:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=6972"},"modified":"2013-12-23T17:02:09","modified_gmt":"2013-12-23T17:02:09","slug":"arb-chief-to-leave","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=6972","title":{"rendered":"ARB chief to leave"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Chief Executive of the Architects Registration Board (ARB), Alison Carr, is to join Institution of Engineering and Technology<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ARB writes<\/span>:<br \/>\nAfter seven years as Registrar and Chief Executive of the Architects Registration Board (ARB), Alison Carr is leaving in February to join the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) as Director of Governance and Policy.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting today, Beatrice Fraenkel, the Chair of the ARB said: \u2018Speaking on behalf of the Board and in a personal capacity, I am sorry to see Alison go. During her tenure, we have modernised our services and created a more accessible Register, as well as taking on the role as the UK\u2019s competent authority, helping to ensure the mobility of UK architects across Europe. Alison is a first-class professional and has led her staff team with aplomb and good humour.
