This national Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme is providing opportunities to gain further skills, knowledge and experience to enable the cultural sector to deliver quality programmes for children and young people. A range of CPD one-day courses and other activities are on offer to museum and archive educators and other cultural sector and children and young people\u2019s sector professionals, to strengthen the role of museums, galleries and archives in the delivery of the Children\u2019s Agenda.<\/p>\n
The CPD programme is part of the MLA programme funded by the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) and the Department for Children, Schools & Families (DCSF) through Strategic Commissioning. It works alongside other Strategic Commissioning programmes, including Campaign! Make an Impact, Take One Picture, National Science Network, Learning Links and a national Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programme.
