Now, the scheme has been extended and local authorities and registered social landlords (RSLs) in Scotland can apply for a grant of up to \u00a31m for homes under their care. Their bid can also include improvements to private housing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Energy Saving Trust writes:<br \/>\n<\/span>Social housing providers can now apply for a grant of up to \u00a31 million, as part of the Scottish Government\u2019s Green Homes Cashback scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme is available to all social housing providers in Scotland and aims to accelerate energy efficiency improvements in the social housing sector.
