{"id":6617,"date":"2013-10-18T19:03:35","date_gmt":"2013-10-18T18:03:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=6617"},"modified":"2013-10-18T19:03:35","modified_gmt":"2013-10-18T18:03:35","slug":"heritage-enterprise-recipients-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=6617","title":{"rendered":"Heritage Enterprise recipients announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">An Art Deco theatre in Stockton and a scheme to unite a 12th-century church with a 17th-century coaching inn are among the first recipients of the Heritage Lottery Fund&#8217;s Heritage Enterprise grant scheme, recently announced.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) is providing more than \u00a312 million of UK-wide funding that will transform five important but neglected historic buildings back to commercial use, creating economic growth in five local areas and an estimated 230 full-time-employment jobs by attracting private investment. This is part of a wider investment of at least \u00a3125 million over the next five years.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme is aimed at funding the repair costs for historic buildings, encouraging private developers to work with local community organisations to deliver commercially viable and attractive places to live and work.
