{"id":6504,"date":"2013-09-27T18:16:15","date_gmt":"2013-09-27T17:16:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=6504"},"modified":"2013-09-27T18:16:15","modified_gmt":"2013-09-27T17:16:15","slug":"council-mulls-action-over-four-successful-housing-appeals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=6504","title":{"rendered":"Council mulls action over four successful housing appeals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cherwell District Council is taking legal advice after four major planning applications were approved on appeal and in line with the recommendations of the inspector who held the linked inquiries.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Councillors had initially refused applications to develop 145 homes off Salt Way in Banbury, 70 dwellings in Hook Norton, and two separate applications for 75 and 85 homes in Bloxham.<\/p>\n<p>In each case the ministerial decision letter cited the absence of a proven five-year supply of housing land.
