{"id":6361,"date":"2013-08-30T15:53:39","date_gmt":"2013-08-30T14:53:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=6361"},"modified":"2013-08-30T15:53:39","modified_gmt":"2013-08-30T14:53:39","slug":"placemaking-awards-2013-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=6361","title":{"rendered":"Placemaking Awards 2013 open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The 2013 Placemaking Awards recognise and publicise projects, plans, people and organisations that are making places better, and are open to individuals and organizations in planning, regeneration, economic development, urban design, sustainable development and community development, with an entry deadline of 31 October.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>One of the many categories is \u2018Best use of heritage in place-making\u2019 which \u2018will go to the project or plan that best demonstrates how it has used or plans to use a place\u2019s or a community\u2019s heritage to demonstrably improve the physical or environmental quality of the place or the economic or social well-being of the community.
