{"id":6342,"date":"2013-08-23T15:32:49","date_gmt":"2013-08-23T14:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=6342"},"modified":"2013-08-23T15:32:49","modified_gmt":"2013-08-23T14:32:49","slug":"honour-ihbc-members-nominate-your-unsung-conservation-hero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=6342","title":{"rendered":"Honour IHBC members; nominate your unsung conservation hero"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Nominations are currently being sought by the department of Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) for the Queen\u2019s Birthday Honours 2014 list<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>IHBC Projects Officer Fiona Newton said \u201cSo many more IHBC members work hard in their professional and voluntary life without credit. \u00a0With only around half of one percent of the IHBC membership having their work recognised through the honours system there must be many more people whose achievements deserve wider recognition.
