The proposals would have meant demolishing the Hangar Lane gyratory as well as 17 other bridges.<\/p>\n<p>HS2 now plans to build an eight-mile tunnel along the \u2018Northolt corridor\u2019 running underground between Old Oak Common and West Ruislip.
