{"id":5724,"date":"2013-04-26T17:38:34","date_gmt":"2013-04-26T17:38:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=5724"},"modified":"2013-04-26T17:38:34","modified_gmt":"2013-04-26T17:38:34","slug":"green-deal-fraudsters-con-householders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=5724","title":{"rendered":"Green Deal fraudsters con householders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Home owners are being warned of doorstep tricksters demanding bogus \u2018admin\u2019 fees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Action Fraud, the UK national fraud reporting centre, has warned that doorstep fraudsters are using the Green Deal to con unwitting householders.<\/p>\n<p>It says Caerphilly Trading Standards has been made aware of fraudsters knocking on people\u2019s doors claiming that homeowners are entitled to \u00a310,000 of funding for home improvements and that the improvements will be \u2018free\u2019.
