It’s open to everyone, members and non-members, and easy to join too. Simply click the links, though do note that we control access to minimize the inconvenience of ‘spamming’ for Group members, so you do have to ask!’

‘We also use the site to alert people to jobs, events and news items of interest to Group members, so non-members can catch up on current news and issues direct from the IHBC. Of course it’s much more convenient for most non-members to join the Institute as a member, using our online registration system. That way you get information, news and jobs sent direct to you, as well as the many other benefits of membership, such as our house journal, Context, the IHBC Yearbook – the UK’s essential conservation directory – and a host of other member benefits’.

To join the IHBC’s Linkedin Group, simply click on the Linkedin logo on the IHBC’s home page www.ihbc.org.uk and follow the links.

To see IHBC membership benefits click on the ‘Benefits’ tab on the IHBC’s home page!

Don’t forget the IHBC’s new ‘Webstarter’ introduction to our website, for students, trainees and researchers from all backgrounds and disciplines:
http://ihbc.org.uk/join/webstarter/index.html

To register online your application to join the IHBC simply go to:
http://www.ihbc.org.uk/join/apply/index.html

Membership of the IHBC’s Linkedin group, the primary social networking platform for IHBC members, colleagues and other conservation interests, has passed 2500.
