{"id":5307,"date":"2013-01-21T15:44:32","date_gmt":"2013-01-21T15:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=5307"},"modified":"2013-01-21T15:44:32","modified_gmt":"2013-01-21T15:44:32","slug":"scottish-civic-trust-awards-2013-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=5307","title":{"rendered":"Scottish Civic Trust Awards 2013 now open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Scottish Civic Trust (SCT) My Place Award is now open, with a deadline for submissions of 31 January 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SCT writes<\/span>:<br \/>\nIn 2013 a Scottish Civic Trust (My Place Award will recognise a building, landscape or public realm project that has had a positive impact in a local neighbourhood and has delivered tangible benefits to that community.<\/p>\n<p>Also, a Scottish Civic Trust My Place Civic Champion Award will be presented to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the promotion and protection of their local heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Any community based group can nominate a project or person. These can include: local civic trusts affiliated to the Scottish Civic Trust, community councils, history societies, housing associations, arts groups, development trusts and community action groups.<\/p>\n<p>Entries must be recently completed projects.
