{"id":4995,"date":"2012-11-09T16:31:43","date_gmt":"2012-11-09T16:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=4995"},"modified":"2012-11-09T16:31:43","modified_gmt":"2012-11-09T16:31:43","slug":"rcahms-hs-merger-consultation-events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=4995","title":{"rendered":"RCAHMS\u2013HS merger consultation events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ODS Consulting has been appointed to carry out stakeholder consultation to inform the development of the business case for a merger between the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) and Historic Scotland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">RCAHMS-HS writes<\/span>:<br \/>\nThis stakeholder consultation will build on the previous consultation (which was focused on the future of RCAHMS), but broaden this to the creation of a new organisation from Historic Scotland and RCAHMS<\/p>\n<p>ODS Consulting are hosting three half-day consultation events. The purpose of these events is to allows stakeholders to discuss in more depth the potential offered by the creation of a new organisation through merger and ways that previously expressed concerns can best be mitigated.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The events are being held on<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday 28 November \u2013 St Mungo\u2019s Museum, Glasgow (10.00am \u2013 12.30pm)<\/p>\n<p>Monday 3 December &#8211; Quaker Meeting House, Edinburgh (10.00am \u2013 12.30pm)<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday 4 December \u2013 Eden Court, Inverness (2pm \u2013 4.30pm)<\/p>\n<p>You are invited to attend any one of these events. Places are limited and so it is advisable to book your place in advance. Please complete the booking form indicating the event you wish to attend and send it back to Emma Hewitt at ODS Consulting by Wednesday 21 November.
