Hyll (The Ugly House) &#8211; which has just been named the Best Traditional Tea Room 2026 in Conwy County, has failed to sell at auction reports <em>North Wales Pioneer.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><u>North Wales Pioneer<\/u><\/em> writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T? Hyll (The Ugly House), a traditional Welsh tea room, garden and woodland\u2026 went under the hammer on September 23\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026 However, the reserve price was not met and the property did not sell at auction<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cymdeithas Eryri, which has owned the property since 1988, listed the historic house, tea room and woodland for sale after a decision was made to redirect resources elsewhere\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sale of the property devastated the current occupant, who said they had offered to buy the property but this was turned down by the society. A petition to save T?
