Tim has kindly \u2013 indeed enthusiastically \u2013 agreed to join us on the day, and offer his own take at the end of the main programme.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tim said: \u2018I am delighted to be joining this important Day School and supporting the work of the IHBC and its membership.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018I am passionate about the creative and sensitive re-use of historic buildings as the sustainable and culturally enhancing choice, and IHBC members are ideally placed to promote and regulate this activity.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018The historic environment is a key psychological foothold in the experience of places and the re-use of assets retains these as key landmarks that support wayfinding, orientation and feelings of belonging.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se\u00e1n continued: \u2018The 2026 association between the IHBC and RTPI will extend to the IHBC\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/page55\/yearbook\/index.html\">Yearbook<\/a>, as RTPI President, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtpi.org.uk\/new-from-the-rtpi\/jan-bessell-puts-planning-with-purpose-at-the-heart-of-her-rtpi-presidency-in-2026\/\">Jan Bessell<\/a> has agreed to write its foreword.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>NB: IHBC\u2019s <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/newcastle2026.ihbc.org.uk\/\"><strong><em>2026 Newcastle School<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>has closed to in-person delegates, but the Virtual <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/newcastle2026.ihbc.org.uk\/\"><strong><em>Day School<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>is still open for booking<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>RTPI members seeking IHBC member-rates for our 2026 Virtual School will find the booking code in your monthly bulletin<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Online Day School Package<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Online access to the Friday Day School<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recording of the Day School following the event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From \u00a335<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Excl.
