If you are no longer interested in holding on to your hardcopy Context<\/em><\/a> don’t let it go to waste: \u2018Help The Conservation Professional<\/em>\u2019 and pass it on to a friend or colleague, and help us all spread the word about the great benefits offered by the IHBC and our members!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

IHBC Director Se\u00e1n O\u2019Reilly said: \u2018We are often asked about saving money by offering members our core practice guidance – Context<\/em> \u2013 only on pdf or online.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018It might seem like we could save money on print \u2013 and even more on post \u2013 and maybe even save members a few pounds on their fees!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018However the paper and post costs are only a part of the expense, as editorial, design and production costs eat up lots too, so savings are less than expected!’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘And even our wonderful advertisers could figure out that a pdf with their advert isn\u2019t as valuable as one that\u2019s sitting in front of an attentive IHBC member.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So if you don\u2019t need your paper copy of Context<\/em>, why not make the best use of it for all our sakes, and pass it on to a colleague or friend.  That way you can educate and inform, while also giving them a taste of what IHBC membership can offer.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018You might also usefully mention \u2013 in passing of course \u2013 that IHBC member costs are significantly lower than many professional bodies.  While just like them, our fees are recognised by government as being a tax deductible professional expense, as described HERE<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘So no need to waste your investment in Context<\/em> by sitting it on the shelf: ‘Pass it on and spread the word<\/em>”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
