{"id":4616,"date":"2012-08-24T15:08:12","date_gmt":"2012-08-24T15:08:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ihbconline.co.uk\/newsachive\/?p=4616"},"modified":"2012-08-24T15:08:12","modified_gmt":"2012-08-24T15:08:12","slug":"towers-near-westminster-heritage-site-approved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=4616","title":{"rendered":"Towers near Westminster heritage site approved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Wendover Investments and joint venture Kylun have been granted planning approval on appeal for their \u00a3400m Vauxhall Island mixed-used scheme at Nine Elms which includes 712,695 sq ft of office space and 291 flats in two curved elliptical towers \u2013 42 and 32 storeys high &#8211; overlooking the River Thames near Vauxhall Bridge in London.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The scheme was the subject of a recovered appeal decided by Communities Secretary Eric Pickles after Lambeth Council failed to make a decision in the prescribed period.
