{"id":45587,"date":"2026-02-17T16:12:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T16:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=45587"},"modified":"2026-02-16T13:03:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T13:03:52","slug":"ihbc-marsh-awards-nominate-to-celebrate-successful-learning-and-or-community-contribution-ret-ihbc-with-our-easy-fill-form-open-to-31-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=45587","title":{"rendered":"IHBC MARSH Awards: Nominate to celebrate \u2018Successful Learning\u2026\u2019 AND\/OR \u2018Community Contribution\u2026\u2019 (Ret IHBC) \u2013 with our easy-fill form open to 31\/03"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogsnew.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IHBC-Marsh-Award-joint.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogsnew.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IHBC-Marsh-Award-joint.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32224\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Know any emerging practitioners who\u2019ve shown accomplishment in learning new conservation trades or skills, AND\/OR Retired conservation professionals giving back to their local communities: Nominate them NOW for an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihbc.org.uk\/marshawards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IHBC-MARSH Award<\/a> to celebrate their contributions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Nominating is easy, and can be done by filling in the relevant forms online \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-retired\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> for the Marsh Award for community contribution by retired members, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-learning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> for the successful learning in heritage skills award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Winners are rewarded with cash prizes (which can be donated) and free places at the IHBC\u2019s Annual School, this year on <a href=\"https:\/\/newcastle2026.ihbc.org.uk\/\">18-20 June, in Newcastle<\/a>, where they can receive their prizes in an awards ceremony at the School\u2019s Annual Dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IHBC President Rebecca Thompson said: \u2018Please do nominate someone deserving that you know, so they can be thanked and celebrated.&nbsp;
