I can’t think of any cause more deserving. He said: ‘I am delighted that the Heritage Lottery Fund has given its support to Wilton’s Music Hall – which is a jewel in the East End’s crown. It is so important that heritage treasures like Wilton’s are protected, preserved and opened up for people to enjoy, and fantastic news that the vigorous campaigning to save Wilton’s has had such success. I look forward to supporting the hard work that will be needed to see Wilton’s thrive again.’

bdonline Article: LINK

Heritage Lottery Fund News: LINK

Wilton’s News: LINK

The future of the world’s last surviving grand music hall, an atmospheric grade II* building, tucked down an alley behind Cable Street, has won round one Heritage Lottery funding for major work by Tim Ronalds Architects.
