{"id":43636,"date":"2025-08-01T17:14:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-01T16:14:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=43636"},"modified":"2025-08-01T17:14:07","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T16:14:07","slug":"ahf-400k-grants-help-communities-rescue-repurpose-englands-historic-buildings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=43636","title":{"rendered":"AHF: \u00a3400K+ grants help communities rescue &amp; repurpose England\u2019s Historic Buildings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is very pleased to announce that it has awarded additional grants through the Heritage Revival Fund, with \u00a3424,738 given in support of nine different projects in June, ranging from a former parish school in Gateshead to a historic coaching inn in Great Torrington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The AHF writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Heritage Revival Fund is delivered in partnership with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Historic England, and forms part of the government\u2019s wider \u00a3270 million investment in arts and culture. It was created to help community organisations to take ownership of, adapt and reuse the local heritage assets that matter to them &#8211; with a specific focus on town centre locations &#8211; transforming them into thriving spaces that meet their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find out more about two of the projects in receipt of new grants from the programme [see linked content]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>15 Silver Street, Masham &#8211; Peacock &amp; Verity Community Spaces Ltd<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating a future life for St Just Miners\u2019 Chapel \u2013 St Just Miners\u2019 Chapel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these two awards, seven more grants were awarded through the Heritage Revival Fund in June.
