The North Branch are also the host branch for IHBC Annual School 2026, which will take place in June in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. We are pleased to say that preparations are already underway for what promises to be an exciting and insightful conference exploring the theme of Adaptive Reuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But before we look too far ahead, we would also like to take a moment to reflect on the success of this year\u2019s IHBC Annual School 2025 in Shrewsbury, which explored the rich topic of Heritage in Context: Value &gt; Plan &gt; Change.&nbsp; The School offered a fantastic three days of tours, inspiring and informative talks and opportunities to celebrate and connect with others from across the heritage sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special thanks goes to the West Midlands Branch Committee for their dedicated work in organising the School alongside officers at the National Office, and to our <a href=\"https:\/\/shrewsbury2025.ihbc.org.uk\/Day-School.html\">speakers<\/a> whose contributions made for a compelling <a href=\"https:\/\/shrewsbury2025.ihbc.org.uk\/Day-School.html\">Day School programme<\/a>, providing a wealth of valuable CPD for delegates, both in person and online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would also like to express our gratitude to this year\u2019s sponsors; MFL Insurance, Velux and Berrys for their generous support, as well as to our <a href=\"https:\/\/shrewsbury2025.ihbc.org.uk\/Exhibitors.html\">exhibitors<\/a> who shared their experience and expertise on the day.
