The IHBC has issued its regular reminder to our voting members (Full, Associate and Retired) that proxy voting in advance<\/strong> of our Annual General meetings (AGM) is strongly encouraged, not least to minimise costs, ensure quorum and make the best use of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Voting open to Full, Associate and Retired members only<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHORT PROXY<\/a> – Takes seconds using your Membership number\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONG PROXY<\/a> – Requires Word document download and return<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of the IHBC\u2019s board, David McDonald, IHBC Chair, writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full programme of IHBC CPD for the AGM will open at 5.30pm with a talk by Tim Greensmith entitled ‘Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings – Back from the Brink’,<\/em> and serves as a membership-only prelude to our 2025 Annual School in Shrewsbury<\/a>, from 12-14 June: #IHBCShrewsbury2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AGM will follow at 6.00pm and is a critical moment in our cycle of governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All voting members (Full, Associate and Retired) are encouraged to <\/strong>vote in advance of the AGM, whether or not you’re attending<\/strong>, <\/strong>using our proxy forms – Short or Long – in case of non-attendance or technical issues during the online AGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PLEASE NOTE: The IHBC\u2019s Annual General Meeting is open exclusively to IHBC members<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IHBC members of ALL categories are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voting at the Annual General Meeting is open ONLY to Full, Associate and Retired IHBC members. Affiliates and Supporters do not have votes, but are encouraged to attend the entire programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendance at the IHBC\u2019s formal meetings, such as General Meetings, AGMs and Council, is recognised as IHBC CPD.<\/p>\n\n\n
