Historic Environment Scotland (HES) has published a new three year operational plan \u2018Heritage For All\u2019,stating it wants Scotland\u2019s historic environment to be for everyone, and \u2018deliver heritage for all\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Scotland\u2019s historic environment is an invaluable national asset and is central to our country\u2019s story. The historic environment provides us with connections to our past, to each other today, and to future generations to come. At Historic Environment Scotland, we want the historic environment to make a real difference to people\u2019s lives. A difference to our health, to our economy, to our culture, to our environment. We want heritage to involve everyone so that we all benefit. This is our vision for our organisation from 2025 onwards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
