Proxy arrangements close at 12 noon on 13 May 2025. The links to the proxy forms are shown above and below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PLEASE NOTE: The IHBC\u2019s Annual General Meeting is open exclusively to IHBC members<br>IHBC members of ALL categories are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voting at the Annual General Meeting is open ONLY to Full, Associate and Retired IHBC members. Affiliates and Supporters do not have votes, but are encouraged to attend the entire programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendance at the IHBC\u2019s formal meetings, such as General Meetings, AGMs and Council, is recognised as IHBC CPD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alastair Godfrey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/alastair-godfrey-84223a55\/\">Alastair Godfrey<\/a> is Head of Major Projects and has been responsible for the delivery of this flagship project for Historic England. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.english-heritage.org.uk\/visit\/places\/shrewsbury-flaxmill-maltings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings<\/a>, known as the &#8216;grandparent of skyscrapers&#8217;, has undergone an 8-year renovation facilitated by \u00a320.7 million National Lottery funding, following 35 years of closure. The redevelopment of the site has been led by Historic England and The Friends of Shrewsbury Flaxmill, and four buildings have now been fully restored; the Smithy, Stables, Main Mill and Kiln.
