It has four parts that can be read and applied individually or together. The \u2018levels of engagement\u2019 in Part 2 and Table 1 \u2018Local Development Plan Preparation\u2019 in Part 3 are quick reference guides with important information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Part 1 &#8211; \u2018The big picture\u2019 sets the context and benefits of engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part 2 &#8211; \u2018Levels of engagement\u2019 helps us think about the purpose of engagement at each stage of making a local development plan. Each level offers different opportunities for engagement and influence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part 3 &#8211; \u2018Local Development Plan Preparation\u2019 covers the purpose of a local development plan, how it is made and when different levels of engagement could be used (summarised in Table 1).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part 4 &#8211; \u2018Stage by stage\u2019 provides more detail about different levels of engagement in local development plan making. More than one level of engagement may be suitable for some stages of making a local development plan.
