{"id":42002,"date":"2025-01-29T17:00:31","date_gmt":"2025-01-29T17:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=42002"},"modified":"2025-01-29T17:00:32","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T17:00:32","slug":"ihbcs-two-marsh-awards-for-2025-nominations-sought-for-successful-learning-and-or-community-contribution-retired-members-to-31-march-2025-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsblogs.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=42002","title":{"rendered":"IHBC\u2019s TWO Marsh Awards for 2025: Nominations sought for \u2018Successful Learning\u2019 AND\/OR \u2018Community Contribution (Retired Members) \u2013 to 31 March 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/newsblogsnew.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IHBC-Marsh-Award-joint.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newsblogsnew.ihbc.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IHBC-Marsh-Award-joint.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32224\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The two <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.org.uk\/marshawards\/\">IHBC Marsh Awards<\/a>, developed in partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshcharitabletrust.org\/\">Marsh Charitable Trust<\/a>, celebrate \u2018Community Contributions\u2019 by retired IHBC members, as well as \u2018Successful Learning\u2019 in heritage-related skills, with \u00a3500 and free places at IHBC\u2019s 2025 Annual School in Shrewsbury \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/2025.ihbc.org.uk\/\"><strong>#<\/strong>IHBCShrewsbury2025<\/a> \u2013 with presentations on June 13, and entries closing 31 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The IHBC Marsh Award for Community Contribution (Retired Member)<\/strong> is offered to celebrate the contribution to the community by a retired IHBC member (e.g. through BPT involvement, neighbourhood planning, civic and local trusts with heritage interests).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominate for <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-retired\/\">RETIRED IHBC<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>IHBC Marsh Award for Successful Learning in Heritage Skills<\/strong> is designed to recognise the contribution to heritage of an individual for their significant learning in traditional building activities and craft skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominate for <a href=\"https:\/\/ihbc.wufoo.eu\/forms\/ihbc-marsh-awards-learning\/\">SUCCESSFUL LEARNING<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018IHBC President Mike Brown said: \u2018Please do nominate someone deserving that you know, so they can be thanked and celebrated.&nbsp;
